2006 Everest Ski Expedition
Location: South East Ridge, Mount Everest, Nepal In August of 2006, Kit and Rob DesLauriers and I headed to Mount Everest to attempt a post-monsoon ski descent of Mount Everest's South East Ridge. Along with Dave Hahn and a crack team of hand picked Sherpas, we spent over a month and a half acclimitizing and climbing on the flanks of Chomolungma. We summited on October 18th, clicked into our ski bindings and carved turns off the summit. Kit became the first person to ski from the 7 Summits.
